According to the DNR, hopper dredge Murden is expected to commence dredging works in Ocean City on or about April 28.

The work will be conducted in the Assateague shoal, and the two priority areas from earlier this year in the Ocean City Inlet, as well as the junction between the Isle of Wight and Inlet channels.

For approximately two weeks, the Murden will dredge shoaling areas, allowing waterborne transportation for large barges to pass through safely.
