USA: Lake Kittamaqundi Dredging Completed

A 14-month works which commenced in October 2010 under the Lake Kittamaqundi dredging contract with Cashman Dredging have now come to an end.

It is estimated that around 47,000 yards sediment has been transferred to authorized dump sites. The dredging equipment is expected to be removed from the site before the end of 2011.

Received proposals for dredging Wild Lake are being evaluated.

The contract is expected to commence on August 19, 2012, what will enable the CA Wild Lake Nature Camp program to work during the upcoming summer. The water dredging activities will be restrained until June 16 due to a fish spawning closure period.
