Poland: Officials Seek Bidders for Ostrow Replenishment Works

Dyrektor Urzurdu Morskiego w Gdyni has announced a tender for the shore replenishment works in the region of Ostrow.

Estimated volume to be recharged amounts to about 76,800 m³.

The scope of work related to the implementation of artificial recharge includes:

a) Installation/disassembly of underwater pipelines;

b) Measuring bathymetric ore consumption in the region and place settings of pontoon to be used;

c) Draw, transport and transmission of ore;

d) Surveying services;

e) Repairs of possible damages in the vicinity of the pontoon settings;

f) Reassembling of pipelines.

All materials needed for the replenishment works are to be acquired in an area of no greater than 15km from the site.

Project period is 2 months from the date of the contract award.

The deadline for this tender is May 29, 2012.
