France: Extract Ecoterres’ Project to Develop Dredged Sediment

Extract Ecoterres' Project to Develop Dredged Sediment

The project, launched by the firm Extract Ecoterres and recognised by the Mer Bretagne competitiveness cluster, aims to make use of the sediment collected from dredging ports, which is currently stored at sea.

The company In Vivo and the University of South Bretagne are also involved in the project.

This project consists of setting up two experimentation centres to transform the sediment into road-building materials.

A selection structure will be put in place to get rid of the most polluting materials.
