According to thenorthwestern.com, the crews will begin to dredge Sawyer Creek and install new storm sewer outfalls between U.S. Highway 41 and its confluence with the Fox River beginning on June 18.

This project includes a dredging the creek, replacing outfalls, enhancing public access to Sawyer Creek and improving stream bank protection in certain locations.

The navigation of the creek may be impacted and access to parts of Bauman Park, West Algoma Park and Red Arrow Park will be restricted during the project.
