USA: Greenbelt Lake Dredging Nears End

“The Greenbelt Lake dredging operation is 99 percent complete,” said Maryville Director of Engineering and Public Works Angie Luckie.

The dredging project that has begun February 11 included the removal of about 40,000 cubic yards of sediment from the lake.

According to thedailytimes.com, ES&H of Knoxville performed the $3,047,260 project under the direction of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
