Nanticoke River Dredging Begins (USA)

Nanticoke River Dredging Begins

Dredging work on the Nanticoke River is expected to begin this week, possibly as early as today, Jan. 28.

The pumping process will dredge more than 86,000 cubic yards of material from the river’s main channel and deposit it at the former Woodland Golf Park site near Woodland, then return water to the river.

The project is expected to last the next two weeks, but will depend on weather.
