MMO: Update on Dredging Licence (UK)
The Marine Management Organisation (MMO) have informed Wells Harbour Commissioners (WHC) that an emergency licence has been issued for dredging works to commence on 17th June 2013 for 15 days, weather permitting.
These works will take place North of number 6 buoy.
Also the MMO have provided WHC with more clarity and information regarding the reasons for the delays to the full dredging licence quoted as being on the potential environmental impacts arising from the berm and not on the objections raised by the RYA or the WDBA.
