Public Meeting Scheduled for Fargo-Moorhead Diversion Project

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, in cooperation with the Flood Diversion Board of Authority, will host a meeting on June 25 to discuss the latest Environmental Assessment for the proposed Fargo, N.D./Moorhead, Minn., Metropolitan Flood Risk Management Plan.

The meeting will also update landowners within the western and southern reaches of the proposed diversion channel.

This meeting is open to all individuals interested in the Fargo-Moorhead Metro Flood Risk Management Plan Environmental Assessment. This meeting will specifically target the changes to the project since the completion of the Environmental Impact Statement, dated July 2011.

The meeting will take place on June 25, 2013, at the Fargo Civic Center, Centennial Hall, 207 4th St. N., Fargo. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. with an open house, followed by a formal presentation at 7 p.m., and conclude with an open house from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the evening.
