Petoskey Marina Dredging Plan Gets Expanded

Petoskey’s city marina dredging project will involve a larger scope than originally planned, reports petoskeynews.com.

The city is currently waiting for state permits to be issued for the dredging, City manager Dan Ralley stated.

Large-scale dredging to help restore the Petoskey’s city marina could be completed within this year if everything goes according to plan.

The Petoskey’s city marina project would now include the removal of 2,200 cubic yards of spoils from the harbor bottom.

The dredge spoil is supposed to be dumped along the east side of the Bear River.
