Corps Presents Delaware River Dredging Plan

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, has announced a plan for the Delaware River dredging program.

This very important development project will include dredging within the Billingsport and Tinicum Ranges of the Delaware River Main Channel.

The officials announced that the disposal area available for use will be Fort Mifflin Disposal Area, Cell A.

All work and services under this contract should be completed no later than March 15, 2014.

The estimated cost of the Delaware River dredging project is between $10 mln and $25 mln.
