CCCC Wins Xiamen Reclamation Projects

CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. and CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. have recently won the bids for Lot I and Lot II of Dadeng & Xiaodeng reclamation project respectively, with a contract value of 217 million yuan and 160 million yuan. The planned construction periods of the two lots are both 20 months.

The project is located at Dadeng Town, Xiang’an District, Xiamen. The lot won by CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. involves a 2,324.27-meter outer cofferdam, a 1,667.86-meter inner cofferdam, a 3,166.78-meter separation cofferdam and a 1,033.63-meter sub-cofferdam. The sub-cofferdam will be heightened to +7.0 meters on the basis of the existing cofferdam.

The lot won by CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. involves a 2,188.55-meter outer cofferdam, a 1,809.12-meter inner cofferdam, a 4,023.39-meter separation cofferdam and a 2,547.31-meter sub-cofferdam. The sub-cofferdam will be heighted with packed earth.

The project has been included in the Development Plan of the Western Taiwan Straits Economic Zone as Phase 1 of the foundation treatment and reclamation project in Xiamen Xiang’an International Airport. After its completion, the project will lay a solid foundation for the implementation of Xiamen’s several urban construction projects afterwards.
