Corps Unveils Sturgeon Bay Dredging Plan

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, has introduced a plan for the Sturgeon Bay maintenance dredging scheme.

Under this plan, a contractor will be asked to mobilize dredging equipment to the working area, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, and dredge between the upstream and downstream limits.

The dredged material will be placed into Barge Road/Sturgeon Bay Utilities Disposal Facility.

The estimated price of this dredging program is between $500,000 and $1 million, and the tentative date for posting the solicitation is 22 May 2015.
