Among the winning projects was also the Waldringfield Flood Defense Scheme. The project addressed issues of managing flooding and erosion risks which threatened the development of the Waldringfield coastal economy.
The scheme was funded, designed and constructed within 12 months by the Environment Agency, JacksonHyder working closely with the Waldringfield Flood Defense Group (WFDG).
