The Western Dredging Association (WEDA) has announced the Call for Abstracts for their annual Dredging Summit & Expo ’21.
The conference is scheduled to take place at the brand new JW Marriott in downtown Tampa, FL from June 14-17, 2021.
“If you have an accepted abstract for the 2020 Expo in Houston that was postponed, you do not need to resubmit it. It is automatically accepted for the 2021 conference,” said WEDA in the release.
WEDA’s technical sessions at the Dredging Summit and Expo are the premier venue to discuss the science and practice of dredging, navigation, and marine engineering. Interested authors and presenters are invited to submit abstracts online at WEDA2021.exordo.com.
As reported by WEDA, the theme for this year’s conference is “Dredging: The Impacts of Climate Change”. The presentations featured at this conference are technical papers to be shared for the advancement of the science and profession of dredging, navigation, and marine engineering.
They also added that the plenary sessions are not meant to provide a forum for promoting commercialized information. Abstracts presenting both practical applications as well as applied research are encouraged.
The deadline to submit abstracts is January 17, 2021.
