New gig for HME Construction

HME Construction from Vancouver, Washington, has won a $9.2 million modification to the contract W912DW-21-C-0003 for a dredging project.

Work will be performed in Aberdeen, Washington, with an estimated completion date of February 22, 2023, the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) said in its latest announcement.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, is the contracting activity.

HME has completed many marine dock maintenance and dredging contracts for federal, state, local and private entities. Projects have ranged in scope from simple timber, handrail, and bull rail replacement to full-scale pile removal/replacement and dock reconstruction. 

Maintenance dredging projects have ranged from clean sediment mining, maintenance dredging and new construction dredging to complex environmental remediation projects with varying levels of contamination.
