Portsmouth International Port

According to the Portsmouth International Port, this routine maintenance dredging project at The Camber should be complete by the end of this week. The contractor – ML (UK) Dredging Ltd will deliver the last few loads of dredged material by Friday 24 March.

Overall, around 6000m2 of material has been removed from The Camber, ensuring that all the vessels that use this important facility can continue to navigate safely.

The port expects all pontoons to be back in place by Saturday 25 March. All vessels that were previously based in The Camber can begin to come back by the afternoon of the 25 March, and the fishing vessels can also return to normal operations.
