Kamadhoo Harbor works move ahead

The Kamadhoo Harbor Development Project is well underway, with overall 75% project progress.

“We have completed construction of quay wall, harbor basin dredging operations and installation of harbor pavement,” said Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) in the latest project update.

Scope of works will include:

• dredging operations of 31,222cbm,

• channel dredging operations of 5,085 cbm,

• construction of a 187m breakwater,

• a 402m quay wall,

• construction of a ramp and a concrete jetty, etc.

The value of the project is MVR 51.44 million ($3.3 million).
