The maintenance dredging operations will take place in the Bedenham Pier Approach channel but also with the possibility of operating in the Main Portsmouth Approach Channel.

The contractor for the works will be using the plough vessel “OBERVARGH” (LOA 15.3m), Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD) “CAUSEWAY” (LOA 92.1m) and supported by small tug “F48” (LOA 14.0m).

The both dredging campaigns are expected to last from 10th to 26th January 2024.
