Bay St. Louis Harbor Dredging Kicks Off (USA)

The dredging program at the Bay St. Louis Harbor and Marina has officially begun.

According to sunherald.com, this project includes removing about 150,000 cubic yards of sand from the mentioned area.

The dredged material will be used for the construction of the parking lot for the harbor and also for the replenishment of beach-front areas.

The deepening is just the first stage of the $22 million dollar harbor development project, and the authorities hope that this phase will be complete within 60 days, reports sunherald.com.
