India: Pipavav Port Receives Essar Infrastructure Excellence Award
APM Terminals Pipavav was the winner of the Infrastructure Excellence Award for Indian Ports at an event organised by CNBC India, eximin.net reports.
The Port was recognised as one of the fastest growing such facilities in western India and for helping business growth in the region.
“This is a prestigious award for us,” said Mr Prakash Tulsiani, Managing Director of APM Terminals Pipavav. “Recognition from the Minister of Urban Development and a respected media house such as CNBC is very encouraging for the team. Our people have worked very hard against a lot of odds to turn the port around. The awards motivate the team to reach for bigger heights.”
