USA: Plan for Port of Corpus Christi Development Moves Ahead
According to caller.com, a contractor has been selected for a multimillion-dollar oil dock improvement project at the Port of Corpus Christi to make way for another Eagle Ford Shale tenant.
CCC Group Inc., submitted the lowest of four bids at more than $3.5 million to revamp the port’s Viola Barge Dock.
Port commissioners Tuesday awarded a contract for the upgrades to CCC Group.
Improvements will include a new steel sheet piling bulkhead, dredging, a new dock house, roadway, utilities and a fire protection system.
The dock will remain public, meaning other companies can also use it.
