USA: City Council to Discuss Options for Lakeside Park Lagoon Dredging

The Fond du Lac City Council meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Legislative Chambers of the City County Government Center, 160 S. Macy St. and will consider a request to study the cost to dredge the Lakeside Park channels, reports fdlreporter.com.

Fond du Lac Public Works Director will be speaking about the need for Lakeside Park lagoons dredging project.

If there appears to be Council support to at least complete the study, the consultant will complete a cost estimate by Aug. 15 and the overall study by Sept. 30 to allow the city to make an informed decision during 2013 budget deliberations,” said Fond du Lac Public Works Director Jordan Skiff.

The silt build-up prevented boats from entering the area during the recent Mercury Marine walleye tournament.
