Singapore to Host IADC’s Seminar on Dredging and Reclamation

For some 20 years the International Association of Dredging Companies (IADC) has been organising international seminars on dredging and reclamation in venues from Singapore to the Netherlands to South America.

Over a 1,000 professionals from all parts of the world have benefited from these seminars, improving their ability to understand the intricacies of dredging projects.

The 40th edition of this seminar, held in co-operation with the National University of Singapore, will take place at the Grand Park City Hall hotel (Singapore) from Monday 22 through Friday 26 October 2012.

The seminars reflect IADC’s commitment to education, to encouraging young people to enter the field of dredging, and to improving knowledge about dredging throughout the world. It is aimed at (future) decision makers and their advisors in governments, port and harbour authorities, off-shore companies and other organisations.

Utilising a combination of lectures and workshops conducted by experts, this five-day hands-on course strives to explain the complexities of dredging and improve understanding between contractors and clients.
