Dredging at Port of Brookings Set for September (USA)

The Port of Brookings dredging plan is moving ahead, according to oregonlive.com.

The silt has made the basin’s waters dangerously shallow for even private boats that risk breaking propellers at low tide.

This dredging project is scheduled for September 7, and it will last about 28 days.

Port of Brookings is located in the Pacific Ocean, a few miles north of the Oregon-California border.
