Army Corps Unveils Plan for Brunswick and Savannah Harbors Dredging

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, intends to issue a solicitation for the maintenance dredging at the Inner Harbor Channels Brunswick and Savannah Harbors, Georgia.

Procurement of these services will result in a fixed price contract. The contract will be solicited and procured using Sealed Bidding Procedures.

This plan includes only hydraulic pipeline dredgers.

The estimated cost range of this project is between $ 10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. The project consists of dredging approximately 3 to 6 million cubic yards of maintenance material from the Inner Channels of the Savannah and Brunswick Harbors.

The dredged material shall be placed in confined upland disposal areas.
