Germany: Plan for Hus

Land Schleswig-Holstein has announced plans for the coastal protection at the Husum area.

The coastal protection extends from the port to Norder Strucklahnungshörn on the peninsula north beach, Halbinsel Nordstrand, Alter Koog. Rd. 450 flood protection wall.

This project includes 30m extension with retroactive piling and anchoring piles; 107,000 lm soil improvements; 48 000 m² revetment; 370,000m3 of sand from the North Sea; extraction of 70,000 m³ clay from the donor site and install approx. 10,750 m² wave rollover protection in asphalt construction with substructure; produce approx. 6700 m² asphalt construction with substructure.

The deadline for this tender is November 21, 2012.
