Turkey Terminal Construction Starts Soon

The construction work on the Yarimca terminal in Turkey should commence very soon, according to the DP World top official.

Rashid Abdulla, senior vice-president, Global Operation, DP World, stated: “The project is a part of 10 major port developments being carried out by the DP World, as part of its strategy to invest in emerging as well as developed markets. These projects includes mega projects like London Gateway, Rotterdam Gateway, and terminal 2 and 3 at Jabel Ali, to take the domestic container handling capacity to 19 million TEUs.”

This terminal will be built on the Asian side of Istanbul with a capacity of 1.3 million TEUs capacity, reports arabiansupplychain.com.
