Tianjin Port to Get New Terminal

Recently, CCCC First Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. has won the bid for the project of No. 26 iron ore terminal in Nanjiang area of Tianjin Port, with a contract value of 208 million yuan.

Located in Nanjiang area of Tianjin Port, with a coastline of 400 meters, with an annual designed through capacity of 23 million tons and a construction area of 750,000 square meters, the terminal involved in the project is jointly funded by Tianjin Port Logistics Co., Ltd. and Hong Kong Voyage International Group Co., Ltd. The main body combines high piles and high abutments, and the berths are in high-piled structure.

After being built up, the terminal will accommodate 300,000t iron ore ships and 400,000t bulk ships.

The project is of great significance to filling the gap of Tianjin Port in iron ore handling and propelling Tianjin to build an international shipping and logistics center.
