USA: Carolina and Kure Beach Projects Start Soon

The Army Corps of Engineers opened up bidding for the Carolina and Kure Beach renourishment projects.

Great Lakes and Weeks Marine entered their bids Thursday, reports wect.com.

Army Corps will review the bids and decide in a few weeks.

Town officials say the bids look favorable, and the project is expected to start sometime this winter.
