USA: Milwaukee Lakefront Needs Dredging, Officials Say

The lakefront at the Milwaukee Yacht Club is in desperate need of dredging, according to Milwaukee County.

County officials have requested government approval for the removal of 2,990 cubic yards of sediment from the mentioned area, reports bizjournals.com.

As soon as the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources approves the plans, this very important dredging project can commence.

The dredging program, if approved, should be completed by the end of the year.
