USA: Hudson River Dredging Resumes in Spring 2013
Phase 2 of the Hudson River dredging program began on May 9 and ended in mid-November 2012.
Approximately 663,000 cubic yards of PCB-contaminated sediment was removed during this time.
Since Phase 1, which began on May 15, 2009, approximately 1,309,000 cubic yards have been removed.
Phase 2 of this dredging project will resume in spring 2013.
