Rudee Inlet Shoaling Causes Major Concerns

A Notice to Mariners has been posted for Rudee Inlet due to serious shoaling conditions.

Reported conditions indicate a least depth from 4.5 feet MLLW (mean lower low water), across the inbound channel, starting at the approximate east end of the north jetty, and extending approximately 250 feet.

Mariners are urged to exhibit extreme caution when approaching the inlet and seek local assistance if unfamiliar with the inlet and its condition.
