Canada: Hanover Council Supports City Harbour Dredging Plan

Hanover Council Supports City Harbour Dredging Plan

Hanover Council has passed a resolution that urges the Federal Government to commence the City Harbour dredging project.

The Owen Sound harbour is very important to Hanover, stated Deputy Mayor Bob White, and added that if the dredging program is not done soon, this harbour will no longer be a viable option for imports and exports.

According to bayshorebroadcasting.ca, Grey County officials will address the City Harbour dredging issue at the Good Roads Conference, which will take place later this month.
