USA: Corps Announces Mississippi River Dredging Plan
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has announced a plan for the Mississippi River dredging project.
The work will consist of placing hydraulically dredged material taken from a borrow area located on the river bottom.
Maximum height of the sill will be the point at which the settled dredge material at the disposal area reaches a maximum height of -45 feet NGVD along the entire length of the sill.
The estimated time for the completion is 89 calendar days. The estimated value of this work is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00.
The solicitation for this development program will be issued on or about 11 April 2013.
