Canada: Thornbury Harbour Dredging Kicks Off

Thornbury Harbour Dredging Kicks Off

The Thornbury Harbour dredging program is scheduled to commence today, according to simcoe.com.

This very important deepening project should cost somewhere between $200,000 and $270,000, and will last about two weeks.

The Thornbury Harbour dredging work will be paid by debt financing.

Councillor Bob Gamble was opposed to the dredging plan this year, saying he did not want to add the debt to the harbour’s books, reports simcoe.com.
