Lobito Port Development Plan Progresses Well

On July 24, the installation and debugging of the 13 pieces of port equipment and some mobile machinery of container terminal in Lobito Port expansion project in Angola were completed and the port equipment and mobile machinery were officially transferred to the client.

This laid a foundation for the following handover of Lobito Port including a container terminal and a ore terminal.

At the handover ceremony, the client’s representative, Lisender – deputy director of Lobito Port Authority and the site supervisor fully affirmed the quality and installation progress of the relevant equipment and stated that they would like to further deepen the cooperation with CHEC.

The equipment handed over this time included 2 quay cranes, 1 multi-functional portal crane, 6 RTGs (4 for container terminal, 2 for dry terminal), 4 RMGs (2 for container terminal, 2 for dry terminal) and 53 mobile machineries.
