VIDEO: Italdraghe SGT 200 CSD raises the bar in Guyana

An Italdraghe SGT 200 cutter suction dredger (CSD) is currently operating in Guyana, South America.

In this gold mining application, the Italdraghe SGT 200 dredges gold-bearing material from the bottom and conveys the resulting slurry through a floating pipeline and a long discharge line to the onshore processing area.

According to Italdraghe, the complete system is designed to support the continuous hydraulic transport of the extracted material over long distances, including in remote and demanding mining environments.
