USA: Corps Introduces Dalles Shoal Dredging Plan

The Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, has introduced a plan for the Dalles Shoal maintenance dredging program.

This dredging project will include maintenance dredging downstream of the lower lock gate at The Dalles Dam, The Dalles, Oregon. Approximately 1,500 cubic yards will be dredged in one event.

Anticipated dredging start date is 21 February 2014, and the completion date will be no later than 28 February 2014.
