Galveston District Prepares Large Dredging Project

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District, has announced the details about the dredging plans for the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway West (GIWW) Turnstake to Live Oak, San Antonio Bay and Matagorda Bay.

This contract will include maintenance pipeline dredging of approximately 1,600,000 cy of material from the mentioned areas.

The total value of this deepening program is estimated to be between $1 mln to $5 mln, and the completion time is 150 days.
