PortMiami Partners with Corps and DEP to Complete Dredging on Time
PortMiami is working closely with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to ensure that the deepening of the Port is completed on time while continuing to protect the environment.
“DEP has worked closely with PortMiami staff to ensure we are operating on schedule and with the appropriate safeguards for protecting our natural treasures,” announced miamidade.gov.
“PortMiami appreciates the support of its elected officials, especially Governor Rick Scott. The state’s investments and continued support will create approximately 33,000 jobs and provide additional opportunities for families in South Florida and throughout the state.”
