Maintenance Works at Half Tide Tug Harbor

Half Tide Tug Harbor breakwater sustained damage during Tropical Cyclone Dylan at the beginning of the year.

Repair works were completed on time and within budget.

Approximately 10,000 tonnes of armor rock was relocated from the DBCT Quarry stockpile area near the Hay Point Lookout on Horyu Maru Drive directly to the breakwater.

An additional 5,000 tonnes of armor rock is currently being stockpiled at the NQBP Quarantine Station for future emergency repairs.

The project value of the Half Tide Tug Harbor Works was $1.24 million.
