USACE: Partnering Meeting Set for February 12
The public is invited to attend a “Partnering Meeting” sponsored by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District, on February 12, 2015, in Blytheville, Arkansas.
The meeting topics will include an overview of the Memphis District’s work in this region, updates on the Levee Safety Program, Mississippi River navigation improvements, and flood preparedness.
Representatives from the U.S. Coast Guard and the National Weather Service are also expected to attend and make presentations.
Small group discussions with USACE subject matter experts will follow the presentations. Memphis District commander Col. Jeff Anderson will also attend and be available for one on one discussions.
