Elizabeth River Dredging Makes Progress

The Elizabeth River dredging scheme is currently underway, announced Cruisers’ Net.

Mariners are advised that the dredger Rockbridge is conducting dredging operations in the Elizabeth River, in Norfolk Harbor Reach and Craney Island Reach.

These dredging operations will occur 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until 28 February, 2015.

The work extends between the Elizabeth River Channel Lighted Buoy 7 (LLNR 9485) and Elizabeth River Channel Lighted Buoy 25 (LLNR 9710).
