New Cutting-Edge Software from HYPACK
After a few weeks of final adjustments to HYPACK® 2015, the new software has been officially released. The software offers users cutting-edge technology including Real-time Point Cloud visualization, and multibeam and water column data integration and playback.
As leader in the hydrographic and dredging industry, this release demonstrates the company’s commitment to provide its customers with the cutting edge features and tools that gives them an ongoing competitive advantage as new equipment and technologies become available.
The major enhancements and new features in HYPACK® 2015 include:
REAL TIME POINT CLOUD
The new program runs in conjunction with HYSWEEP® SURVEY and displays both multibeam and topographic laser data in a corrected and geo-referenced color-coded point cloud. The Real Time Point Cloud program will be useful for easier feature detection and categorization, system calibration and verification, and data quality control. This program enhances the already powerful multibeam and LIDAR collection capabilities of HYSWEEP®.
WATER COLUMN
The HYSWEEP Water Column logger is a new program that collects and logs the massive amounts of water column data from Reson 71xx and R2Sonic. Review the data in the WATER COLUMN PLAYBACK program and incorporate the data in your MBMAX-64 editing sessions HYSWEEP Water Column, it will be a standard module in HYSWEEP® and enhances the already powerful multibeam and backscatter collection capabilities of HYSWEEP®
SURVEY: ENHANCED MTX DISPLAY
HYPACK® 2015 will allow the user to create simultaneous Map Windows with different Matrix views to display the depth info, or the number of samples, or the standard deviation per cell, or the average depth per cell. Also the light shading of MTX is now done 100% of the time and not just on MTX redraws.
HYSWEEP: PLAYBACK SIMULATION
Use HYSWEEP’s Simulation (Playback) driver to replay a *.LOG of *.HSX files back through the program. Use HYPACK’s HYSWEEP Playback.DLL to read positions from the same file. This allows users to replay their surveys to review their data and present any results to potential customers.
HYPACK CONSTRUCTION: ANCHOR HANDLING
The new ANCHOR HANDLING routine allows both rig and anchor handling vessel (tugs) operators to graphically display the status and location of anchors and their cables, track their movement and deployment and send the anchor locations to the anchor handling vessel operators.
NEW DEVICE SUPPORT
All these interfaces will be included in HYPACK® 2015 for the customers to use without any additional cost.
