VIDEO: MarinaMaster 8000 at Work

Neyland Marina has just released a video of the Neyland Yacht Haven’s Lower Basin dredging operations, undertaken by MarinaMaster 8000 recently.

MarinaMaster 8000, designed by Alan Goodchild and built in Italy by Italdraghe SpA, is perfect for precision dredging projects in marinas and waterways where disruption needs to be kept to a minimum.

No wires are required and the dredger can operate inside marina finger berths so that the fingers do not need to be removed.

The MarinaMaster 8000 has an overall length of 14.20 metres and can dredge down to 8.2 meters below the surface.

At the stern of the MarinaMaster 8000 there is a 110 hp Italdraghe brand hydraulic azimuth propulsion unit with 44° rotation each way, positioned in a recess within the hull for protection.

This can also be raised vertically for greater protection and for maintenance.
