Kiewit Nets St Paul Island Deal

Kiewit Infrastructure West of Vancouver, Washington, has just won a $10.8 million contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for breakwater repair and maintenance dredging works in Alaska.

Work will be performed in St Paul Island, Alaska, with an estimated completion date of October 15th 2017.

The project calls for the repairs of the 1,000-foot-long detached rubble mound breakwater, repairs of the scour holes in the harbor’s entrance channels and adjacent to rubble mound breakwaters.

Also, the project includes dredging of the selected shoaled areas of the main and small boat harbor entrance channels to the selected depth, and disposal of dredged material.
