The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District, in partnership with the St. Louis County Council and the City of Eureka will host two public workshops on Meramec Flood Risk Reduction in the following weeks.

USACE and Nonstructural Flood Proofing Committee experts will be available for questions leading up to and following formal presentations.
“Homes, businesses and infrastructure in the Lower Meramec basin have been significantly impacted by two recent floods of record,” said Shawn Sullivan, Strategic Planning coordinator for the St. Louis District.
“This workshop will provide a great opportunity for Lower Meramec basin stakeholders to learn more about practical flood risk reduction solutions.”
