The dredging operations – started on October 15 with the first dredger – represent the Government of Paraíba’s investment in the port development activities through the contracts signed in March by Governor João Azevedo.

The Omvac Diez dredger – manufactured in 2011 – is about 70 meters long and sails under the Spanish flag.
