NMDC, Abu Dhabi Chamber ink MoU
As part of its efforts to support and increase in-country value, NMDC Group (National Marine Dredging Company) and the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to engage Abu Dhabi-based suppliers in key strategic projects.
The MoU was signed today by Eng. Yasser Zaghloul, GCEO of NMDC, and H.E. Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber in the presence of H.E. Abdulla Mohamed Al Mazrui, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber.
As a result, the two parties will launch the ‘Let’s Grow Together’ initiative which aims to enhance local supplier awareness of market needs and open new procurement avenues.
The Abu Dhabi Chamber was founded in 1969 by Emiree Decree from the ruler of Abu Dhabi to support and grow the private sector in Abu Dhabi.
They recently launched its new 3-year strategy spanning from 2023 to 2025, which centres on serving the Abu Dhabi Economy and solidifying its position as the “Voice of the Private Sector”.
In line with the new strategy, the Abu Dhabi Chamber aims to empower the private sector in Abu Dhabi and enhance its competitiveness, making Abu Dhabi the first choice in the MENA region for doing business by 2025.
